Thomas Duke, Ph.D.
I came to the profession of clinical psychology primarily out of a deep-rooted love of people and the desire to apply my emotional, relational, and intellectual abilities toward helping others to live healthier, happier, and more meaningful lives.
Toward that end I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Pscyhology, and throughout that six-year graduate school process and beyond I had valuable opportunities to practice the science and art of psychotherapy and psychological assessment in a diverse array of settings around the Los Angeles area.
My training has included year-long stints working with adults, children, and adolescents in settings such as: Pacific Clinics (a community mental health provider), Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, Oliveview-UCLA Medical Center, the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System, a full-time pre-doctoral internship/residency at the Kaiser-Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, and working in private practice in the Pasadena area for many years.
I live in the Pasadena area with my wife and two children, and in my limited free time I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and being active and outdoors as much as possible.
